Good 00:32:19 AH: Good morning commissioners, We are sending this to respectfully ask a few questions to the las Animas county health department. Recently our small school and community was greatly affected by one positive covid case. Our students, teachers and student athletes have been quarantined for 14 days. As a community we are asking that we be allowed to be held to the standards that are currently normal standards across the state. Most counties mirror the CDPHE recommendations, which is that exposed students can return to class and activities after a 10 day quarantine or after 7 day quarantine with a negative test pulled on the 5th day or later. For instance, Huerfano and surrounding counties follow these protocols. We are not asking to be given any leniency greater than anyone else. We are only asking that we be held to the standard that is common across the state. The sooner our kids, teachers and student athletes can return to normal activities the better. Sincerely, Concerned parents of Hoehne School 00:35:19 Las Animas County: can you the Commissioners? 00:35:46 Las Animas County: can you hear the Commissioners? 00:36:11 Paula Lucero: yes Phil 00:38:03 Las Animas County: thx
